Turn in Box Tops to your teachers as soon as possible! Prizes awarded monthly to the classroom and teacher that collects the most Box Tops. Remember, each box top collected is 10 cents for our school!

The Desert Willow Elementary School PTO is sponsoring a blood drive on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 in the DWES gym from 1:30 PM - 6:00 PM. Please make an appointment to Save A Life! There is always a need for blood and only volunteer donors can fulfill that need for patients in our community. Nationwide, someone needs a unit of blood every 2 to 3 seconds and most of us will need blood in our lifetime. Visit www.BloodHero.org (sponsor code: DesertWillow) to make an appointment.
Our Seusstastic Read-A-Thon is in full swing! Rumor has it that our amazing reading Roadrunners are racking up the minutes and sponsor pledges! There is also some great competition between grade level classes. Keep up the good work. How many reading minutes can Desert Willow achieve?
Mystery Monday scavenger hunt riddles are due by Friday, March 2. One winner with the correct answer per grade level will be drawn to receive a prize.
